hi i just read your weekly rant and im just really confused?? how else is someone supposed to view eating disorders? it's a disorder for a reason and it's deeply unhealthy. Of course no one should mock people for having an ed but at the same time you can't say people should just "let people be" because how do u expect someone to watch their child literally disappear in real time and just "let them be"??? as someone who almost lost someone because of aneroxia, romanticizing eds is so irresponsible

im really sorry somthing like that almost happened. of course eating disorders are a negative thing, but i mean like i always see people straight up making fun of others who have an ed. Or if they want to use an insult they'd call somone anorexic for some reason. And i do agree that it isnt exactly smart to 'let someone be', i was just speaking from my pov bc i hate it when people try to bring it up. and romantisizing it is honestly just a way to cope, for me at least, it might not be the smartest thing, but it making things seem better than it actually is. im genuinly sorry if this made you upset, thats never my goal, i just share my thoughts, which are somtimes disorderd and dont make sence
